Do the athletes have academic support accessible to them if they need
Yes, we have an academic advisor who works solely with our
student-athletes. She registers the student-athletes for classes
before the semester begins. She also tracks them several times
throughout the semester to make sure their grades are sufficient.

accounting, nursing, computers and transitional studies.

It depends on many things, but for the most part yes. If you decide
that when you come to MCC you already know where you want to go
afterwards, you can do the 2+2 program. All credits will transfer if you
are in a 2+2 program as long as the grades meet the requirement for the
institution that you wish to transfer to. If you don't know exactly where
you want to go that is ok too, your core courses will transfer as long
as your grade is a C or better. Advisors
are accessible to all students, it is wise to consistently check with
them on the status of your transcript.
